Hi, my name is Jee-na Choi. I’ve taught Korean and English, and I also translate, but I’m mainly focused on teaching Korean these days.
When you are learning Korean with me, I will use more or less English while explaining concepts, depending on your Korean level.
I’ll also use a white board more or less depending on your level, too. Beginners need to see how to correctly write the consonants and vowels. Knowing the proper writing technique will help you when reading artistic fonts or people’s handwriting.
Once you’ve established the basics of writing, I’ll primarily use a messaging app to send you words and phrases, or to correct your speaking, (we use Kakao Talk here in Korea), so we can quickly cover more topics and you can keep a record of our lessons to easily review later. So what do you want to learn how to say in Korean first? That’s where we’ll begin! Everybody wants to learn to say different things at first. There is no one right book that all people should follow page by page. Your book will be unique, and we will write it together.
That’s everything you need to know~~~
See you soon~~!
